After getting a degree from the Culinary Institute of America, Heston went on to compete on the show Hell's Kitchen. She placed second and worked closely with Gordon Ramsey for a while. Since the show, Kristen has shifted her focus to gluten free products. She specializes in pastries, but is well rounded and makes fantastic meals as well.

Cookie Cutters began on a simple ideology; a restaurant where everyone in the family can enjoy their food, regardless of allergies and different taste preferences. John, our owner, who is gluten free, was tired of relentlessly having to drag his friends and family around town looking for a place where they could eat together. Even the chain restaurants that offer some gluten free items, lack variety and taste. John had always dreamed of opening a restaurant for friends and families like his, but also anyone looking for a tasty meal. Then he turned his dream into a reality and opened the best gluten free restaurant and bakery in the Downtown Annapolis area - Cookie Cutters.

The owner of Cookie Cutters can be seen at the restaurant almost every day. He is constantly working to make the place better for people like him and all his customers. John also loves to make baked goods, from breads to muffins and pastries.
